Gathered Bluebird is rooted in a simple belief: what
touches your baby's skin matters. Every fiber, every stitch, every detail deserves deliberate care—because the fabrics we choose for our little ones should offer more than softness and beauty. They should be thoughtfully sourced, carefully made, and held to the highest standards.
The story began with research… hours and hours of it. Searching through countless products to find what was genuinely clean, genuinely safe, and genuinely worth bringing into a home. As the wife of a chiropractor and someone shaped by years of international travel, I've learned that wellness isn't accidental—it's intentional. It's woven into the choices we make for ourselves and the people we love, every single day.
As a buyer and purchasing manager with over 10 years of purchasing expertise and a deep appreciation for quality, I began noticing a gap in the market. I could find products made with organically grown raw materials, and others that emphasized cleaner fabric processing, but finding baby bedding that clearly addressed both was much more difficult than I expected.
I wanted to change that. My vision was to create beautifully crafted fitted sheets for babies and toddlers that bring together the rigorous organic textile requirements of GOTS and the harmful-substance testing of OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. I wanted families to feel confident not only in how a fabric feels, but also in the care and standards behind its creation.
That's why Gathered Bluebird was born.

What is the difference between Organic and GOTS?
Organic simply refers to the raw agricultural fiber (such as cotton or wool) being grown without synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or GMOs (often certified by standards like USDA Organic), whereas GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is a comprehensive, end-to-end certification that tracks the material after the farm all the way through processing, manufacturing, dyeing, packaging, and social labor conditions.
What is OEKO-TEX?
OEKO-TEX is an international association and certification system founded in 1992 that tests and certifies textile and leather products to ensure they are free from harmful levels of toxic substances.
When do you anticipate your launch date?
We are currently getting all of our manufacturing contracts and certifications finalized and hope to be launching in early 2027.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are manufactured in Portugal. We have carefully selected our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value. We want only the best fabric for your baby and toddler's skin, and sourcing that fabric is very important to us!
Where is your company located?
We are based out of Argyle, Texas and will be the direct importer and handler. There will be no roundabout or third-party handlers.
